My name is Lee Hutch. I’m a retired firefighter/arson investigator turned history professor and author. I grew up on the Gulf Coast, along the Texas/Louisiana border. My historical interests include the American Civil War, Irish History, the World Wars, and I have a deep, abiding love for Russian Literature. My favorite novel is Quiet Flows the Don by Mikhail Sholokhov. I published my first novel, So Others May Live, in 2019. My second, Molly’s Song, is forthcoming from Fireship Press. Release Date TBA.
When I’m not teaching or writing, I am cheering for the New Orleans Saints and the Boston Red Sox. I’m also a big boxing fan. I live in Southeast Texas with my redheaded wife Elizabeth and lots of cats, including my “little” girl, Her Imperial Highness Grand Duchess Anastasia Colleen Hutch.
Molly’s Song is the first in a projected three book series, as she has plenty more stories to tell.
